Firewood

Starting a fire is easy as long as you buy dry wood.  You will need kindling, newspaper, and three small pieces of softwood.  Place two pieces of softwood on the grate, add the kindling on top, and then add the third piece of softwood.  Wad the newspaper under the grate, open the damper, and light the paper.  After the fire has started, add hardwood for a longer, hotter burning fire.  Remember to replace the fire screen to control sparks.  Don't forget to have your chimney cleaned yearly.
