Bonsai plants are sculptured to create special shapes.  They can be used in many locations as well as the traditional Japanese Garden.  Usually they require shearing twice a year by an experienced professional.

Weeping cherry and mulberry trees are excellent choices for a front yard.  They won't overgrow the location and block the house.  Special pruning is required.
