Spruces and pines can be shaped to improve their appearance, as well as reduce their size to fit the location.  The picture on the left shows an irregularly shaped tree, and the picture on the right shows how the tree can be improved by pruning.

Fruit trees and ornamentals are often pruned back and shaped to keep a compact, round appearance and make it easier to harvest the fruit. Wind, sloping terrain, and overcrowding can cause a tree to be lopsided or misshapen. We can redirect growth and shape the tree or shrub into an attractive specimen.
