Birch borers have killed many of the area's birch trees. Damage frequently begins at the top of the tree. Prune the dead areas, reshape the tree, and call licensed pesticide applicator to treat with MERIT® in late winter. If the tree is unsightly or has too much dead wood, remove it. |
